Seasonal Flu Vaccine Available Now
Vaccination is the best way to prevent the flu. This year’s new flu vaccine protects you from the two main flu strains and H1N1 virus that will cause the most illness during the flu season. The vaccine can make your illness milder if you get a related but different influenza virus strain. The CDC and the Advisory Committee on Immunization Practices (ACIP) recommend that everyone age 6 months and older receive the flu vaccine.

North Medical has the 2012-2013 vaccine and is able to vaccinate any patient wishing to receive it. For your convenience, North Medical Family Physicians is offering several flu clinics for patients or those who do not have a primary care provider.
