Providing
care to a loved one or close
friend can have its rewards.
A caregiver provides basic
care to a person who has a
medical condition (cancer
or Alzheimer’s) that
prevents them from caring
for themselves. Caregivers
often help the person with
the activities of daily living,
such as preparing and eating
food, taking medicine, bathing,
and dressing.
Providing for the ongoing
care for another person can
take a lot out of you. Often
times, caregivers develop
feelings of depression and
anxiety associated with the
challenges of providing for
the daily care of someone
who is ill or aging.
At North Medical, we
recognize the importance of
caregivers in the life of
person who must cope with
an illness or disability.
Our goal is to help not only
those faced with health concerns,
but to support the caregiver
in this critical role.
